Sacramento's skyline continues to grow over the capital of California.  The capital city, is located in the heart of the Golden State.  Sacramento was once known as "Sacratomato" or the "The Big Tomato".  The region used to be a farm community and home of many tomato processing plants.  The greater Sacramento farm region still produces one of the largest tomato corps in the country.  

Sacramento has grown to become a major city. Many of the suburbs in the region are now incorporated cities such as Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, etc. 

The state government is headquartered in the city and sprawls into the greater metropolitan area and suburbs.  The state government provides many jobs and opportunities for the surrounding communities.

The city is well known for being the entertainment and economic center of Northern California. It is just hours away from the West Coast Ocean and the mountain range of Lake Tahoe.
